Unbelievabowl (Sheridan Paterson, Nick Oddy, Jimmy Bainbridge, Andrew Gee) retained third place in the table as they beat 4th placed Blue Sox ( Pat Grant, Peter Gregory, Avril Humberstone, Peter Grant) 22-12. Gregory was the lone winner for Blue Sox with a 21-19 win against Oddy. Paterson maintained her improvement as she beat the experienced Pat Grant 21-12.

Leaders Fiery Jacks and Simply the Best both registered emphatic wins. Fiery Jacks (Gordan Bradford, Brian Needham, Ian Crossland, Mick Walker) beat Kingston 24-12 and Simply the Best (Julie Best, Linda Gledhill, Lynn Carter, Julie Mallinson) beat Tykes (Ken Piggott, Patrick O’Connor, Robert Dean, Garry Robinson) by 24 points to 9.

Fiery Jacks, relegated from Division 1 last season have scored 136 points from their 6 games played, having only dropped 8 points all season.

In Division 1 Rabbits Revenge (Lyndon Harris, David Hemsley, Trevor Hargreaves, Derek Pollard) are turning in improved performances each week. Their latest success was a 20-14 win over Four Play (Ray Clegg, Derek Williamson, Keith Hanson, Dave Russell). After his win against Hedley Kettlewell in his previous game Clegg was beaten 21-18 by Harris. Only Russell achieved success for Four Play as he beat Pollard 21-16. Rabbits Revenge are now in third place in Division 1 with 113 points from their 6 games played.

Leaders Clayhouse ( Peter Oliver, Tommy Harney, Alan Peel, Ian Johnson) found Strollers player Peter Lomax in top form as he beat Harney 21-15. Brian Pickles, Lesley Ellison, Glenda Hartley all tasted Defeat as Clayhouse ran out 21-12 winners.

Whirls Wizards (Shirley Dillingham, Lorraine Hirst, David Frost, Martin Skuse) also scored 21 points in their game against Lindley (Richard Saunders, Paul Cooney, Mark Sykes, Peter Hopkinson). Sykes was the lone winner for Lindley as he beat Frost 21-18. Whirls Wizards still remain 1 point behind Clayhouse.

Mavericks ( Peter Krenc, Steve Wandiak, Jason Greenwood, Steve Holmes) found the Pellon players Robert Walker and David Agnew in top form as Walker beat Wandiak and Agnew defeated Greenwood. Mavericks retained 4 th place in the table as they ran out 18-14 winners.
